The films are paced very slowly, with lots of dialog and atmosphere. Here is a post I put up after watching the first one:
Coffin JoeThe second is comparable to the first in terms of enjoyment. Ze finds a woman who shares his views on life, death, and children. Unfortunately, it takes going through a number of "possible candidates" to find the perfect women. (Hint: women do not survive failed relationships with Ze.)
The third is incredibly pretentious, boring, and full of idiotic images that are meant to be "chilling" or "strange." It drove me nuts and had the gall to be longer than the packaging claimed. Arrggghhh!
