It's a pretty cool movie.  It basically takes Meatballs and Lord of the Flies and mixes them together.  Because of the title it is usually called a horror movie but it isn't really at all.  A better title probably would have been Summer Camp Revolution.

It isn't a great movie but I really liked it.  When I end up reviewing it I'm actually going to give it something like four out of five because I was very entertained by it.

Saw it on cable back in the day.  Not too bad from what I recall but kinda hampered by a low budget.

I remember being disappionted that it wasn't a Sleepaway Camp type deal. That was my first impression of the movie, but I haven't seen it in at least 20 years - I think I'd really enjoy it a lot more today considering how my "bad movie" tastes have changed.

I love this movie!
Especially the Beef Bologna song.   Wink   Thumbup
(skip to the 4:45 minute mark to see it)

She just wants her double dose of my Beef!  Beef!  Beef!  Beef Bologna!

Same.
The old VHS cover art was sort of misleading and I thought the movie was kind of bland back then. Re-watched it last year and liked it for what it is. Entertaining with more or less fun 80s cheese.
