Ok, I've not been to the theater for...awhile now.  School and work are taking up all of my time, and I'm getting a little down about this.  I went to see the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie, but I was in a foul mood and didn't enjoy like I should have.

Anyway, are there any movies coming out, theater or DVD, that any of you are really looking forward to?  I need to make a list, because starting August 11th, I'm going on a movie binge.  Pulse opens at the theater that day, and it's the day after finals, so my butt shall be firmly planted at the Carmike.

Pulse
Miami Vice.  yes, I said it.  And no, I don't like Colin Ferrell, but Michael Mann's doing it.  God Bless him.
Clerks II
Lady in the Water
Talladega Nights - The Ballad of Ricky Bobby.  Will Ferrell usually just annoys me, but I laugh my ass off everytime I see the commercial, so....yeah.

Where I live does not get any good independent, or undergroundish movies.  I'd have to go to Dallas for that.  I'm out of touch with what is coming out, guys.  Help me out!

Amanda,

If you're a fan of the original Clerks, then see the sequel ASAP.  My wife and I caught it this weekend and it's fantastic.

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.

And don't forget Snakes on a Plane.
With a title like that, how can it go wrong?
