I have recently found two great programs (meaning both free and feature packed) that are useful for web design; for those of you who are interested in web design. I am also including links to some of my favorite webmaster sites.

Website Builder is a full featured WYSIWYG editor without limitations or any catches (I found this quite by accident). They also have some very useful graphics downloads which are common graphic files and can be used with any program.

Over the past several years, I have maintained a list of freeware image editing tools which I have posted on several forums. Although the programs in the list each had their particular pluses and minuses, none were really a complete image editor along the lines of Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro...until now.

MAGIX has released their Photo Clinic software as full freeware. With this program, you get the functionality of working with layers, cloning tools, and paint tools. Plus it also accepts Photoshop compatible plugins. A big bonus for web and graphic designers is that you can also edit PSD files with this program; making it ideal for someone on a limited budget, or who just cannot afford one of the more pricey editors, to be able to edit a PSD template they got for free.

The download is about 10Mb

You can download it from Download.com or Tucows.

My nominee for the coolest webmaster site I have found as of late is Webmasters Cavern. They have all kinds of graphics and templates that they just give away for free. They have several collections of templates that charge for which can be downloaded for free, including a collection which includes several adult templates.

One of the most useful collections of tools for webmasters is Webmaster Tools 3 which includes over 30 different tools including color pickers, banner rotator, javascripts, metatag maker, and lots more. The link is to the homepage. Just click on their link for Webmaster Tools 3.

If you want free stuff for your web design, you can find a lot of it at DavidPye.com. The link is to his freeware page where you can find his JavaScript Vault, a collection of over 700 JavaScripts, and his Web Graphic Vault, a collection of over 5000 assorted web graphics. Check around his site for even more stuff including free remotely hosted content.

Yea, I know, it doesn't have to do with movies, but I thought some of you might could get some good use from this.
