Anyone remember a Roger Corman movie called "Sorceress"? It was released in 1982. I don't remember much other than it was a sword and sorcery film that starred two twin blond warrior girls. I've been waiting for the DVD release.

I sure have, though it has been a long time.  I distinctly remember the two twins knowing what the other was feeling and also the viking that is introduced out of nowhere.  The strange manticore-like creature from the end is often made fun of, but I always found it interesting.  Heck, I have a weak spot for monsters and the not-a-manticore was somebody trying for something different.

Oh, and I remember that the one guy, who is a putz, gets both girls in the end.  Life mocks me.

Dr. Freex has a good review here:

Oddly enough, doesn't he now play a pair of female twins on WOW?  Yes, he plays both at the same time.  His left hand is Teela, while his right plays the part of Sheena.

You hear me Freeman?  We miss you, old man!

Dang, I don't recall this one.  I've got all the Lana Clarkson ones, figured that would cover it all but now another one to watch.   Twirling

This film remains most famous for the scene where one sister is deflowered, and the other (they share sensations of pain and pleasure, ala the Corsican Brothers), miles away, starts moaning and rolling around as the actress feigns having invisible sex, much to the 'comical' consternation of her companions, a barbarian and a randy goat-man.  The sisters were played by the Harris twins, who I think had done a Playboy pictorial.

Ah, the '80s.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

This thing is so awful --
I saw it on the Big Screen in Boulder when it was first released -- There was this great shopping-mall multiscreen, now closed, that would show anything, no matter how bad or cheap.  I also saw "Panic in The Year 3000", with Olivia Hussey, a New Zealand Mad Max/Most Dangerous Game ripoff, there --
One of the things I recall best about "Sorceress" is when these monkey-men jump down from the trees to threaten the little party of traveling heroes.  You can see the highly visible booty-feet on the zippered ape costumes -- This jaw-dropping detail is even more amazing on a 15ft screen.  I mean, no attempt at all to hide the fact that these dangerous ape-men are wearing the adult equivalent of sleeper-jammies . . .

I probably did, because at that point in my life, I was making it a point to see every fantasy film that came to the big screen. But don't ask me what it was about, because I don't remember. Darn! Not even the boobs and bare butts. I'm going to have to take another look at that film.

It ranked in my personal Top 10 films from the 1980s...seriously.  Twirling
