Just some upcoming DVD news for cult movie fans:

Blue Underground are re-releasing a lot of out-of-print Anchor Bay titles, including Living Dead at the Manchester Morgue, and several Lucio Fulci and Dario Argento films.

New firm Severin Films will be releasing a series of 'adult' B-movies, including the infamous Black Emanuelle series.

BCI will be releasing a massive swathe of Spanish cult horror titles, including many long sought after Paul Naschy films, in beautiful new special editions.

I've got cover-art and more at my Upcoming Pages, and I'll keep this thread updated with any new titles for the cult fans...!

Ah, you reminded me that I keep meaning to get a copy of "Maniac" for my collection.  A number of these titles are good news for people who missed the movies when they came out on DVD the first time.

Any idea why these are coming from Blue Underground this time and not Anchor Bay?

I believe the Bill Lustig was the rights owner and sub-licensed them to ABUS, he worked for the company for a while, then left to set-up Blue Underground, hence when the ABUS rights expired, they defaulted back to him and thusly BU (anyone follow that?!).

It is believed that he also now has the rights to the ABUS Hammer titles, so we might get re-issues of some of those later this year (here's hoping!).
