Anyone seen "Life on the Edge"?

Has anyone seen this one weird movie called "Life on the Edge"?  I recall watching it on TV a long time ago.  It's about this family who lives in another dimension or something.  I remember that they had a bunch of strange creatures lurking around their house, and a whacked-out grandpa that lived in their basement whom they fed with a giant syringe.  Oh, and they also killed a few people for some reason.  It was a very, very bizarre movie.  Anyone else seen it?

Some of the B-Masters at post B-Fest saw a few scenes from the beginning of the version called Meet the Hollowheads.  On the whole, the response was akin to "send it to the edge."  (For those of you who have not seen this movie, "The Edge" is the edge of their world, possibly on a plateau, and the term carries the weight of mythological destruction or damnation.)

(Cynical side note re the copy I have: On the cover, a dark haired image of Juliet Lewis is added over a star field with a planet.  Those who have seen the movie can tell you that these images are not from the movie.  Thanx, marketing.  It's memories like this that make me fell so confident about truth in advertising....)
