I recall as a kid watching the tail end of a movie or tv show but can't remember what its from. Here is what I remember from it;
Two guys are fighting and a girl is nearby. Somehow the room catches on fire and the girl stops both guys from fighting when she steps into the fire. Her face melts with the rest of her body. I think one of the guys calls her "Nadine" or something.
Any help would be appreciated.

Could it possibly be the TV version of Stephen King's "The Stand"? It's been a long time since I've seen the made for TV film or read the book but the scene does sound familiar. Also, Nadine is a character in the book/film. Although I believe she may commit suicide....

This tickles a brain cell, as I think the woman that melted was wax. Maybe it is a movie that copied the original "House of Wax" or something like that? Here are the movie connections: http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0045888/movieconnections

There's a similar ending in the Friday the 13th episode: "Wax Magic". But it done even better than that on the classic Boris Karloff Thriller series episode "Waxworks".

Could it be Spontainious Combustion?
That is a really good lead, especially since one female is named "Nina" per the IMDB. http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0098375/

While the Nadine name doesn't match, everything else is very much like the ending of Friday the 13th episode WAX MAGIC . The girl's name in that was Marie.

And another good lead on this one. Let's hope that one of these is the right answer.

thanx for the help all and sorry for the delayed response. It could have very well been a Friday The 13th episode seeing I recall watching it during the 80s. I'm going to do a bit of research into whether or not I can find the episode.

One of the characters fighting over her in said episode was Ryan from Friday the 13th: The Series. I'm almost certain what you're looking for is "Wax Magic".

Perhaps this is a long shot, but you may be looking for the Roger Corman/Boris Karloff/Jack Nicholson mess, The Terror. Offhand I don't recall the name of the woman in the film, but at the end Boris and Jack are struggling in a cave and the woman (who is really dead) melts & there is a shot of her gooey skull at the end of the film.
For a long time this is all I could recall from this film, which if I recall was made because Corman had the sets from another movie for a few extra days. The Terror was quite literally thrown together.
