You got your picture wrong, it is supposed to be women in revealing outfits beating the **** out of eachother with pillows.

I'd do it if they paid me.

Ever been slugged with a heavy pillow?
It can really jar you!

Oh yea, pillow fighting isn't as easy as it looks. It will be one tough sport. We use to have knock out bouts while watching the original BATMAN TV Series in the 70's. A person could get hurt doing that especially with feather pillows.  Smile

The worst was being struck directly on top of the head by a heavy old feather bed pillow that had been sitting in the basement for years.  Your head is mushed into your torso, your chin hits your chest, and you flop over - hoping to recover before the others get bored with watching you and start whaling away again.

Also, when I was young, we would play "Red Baron" in the basement.  Two groups of kids, situated on two different old couches.  We would whip the pillows across the room at each other, trying to score a hit on the head or torso (a kill).  The dead plane crewman would then flop off of the couch onto the floor.  I guess that simulated us dropping out of the sky and landing upon an unsuspecting infantryman.

Been hit with the old heavy pillow like Andrew described. One of my aunts seemed to have a lot of those. I did once managed to hit my cousin with the wrong end of a zippered pillow that I didn't notice until too late.

No pillow fighting allowed at my granmother's housewhen we were little, and a damn good thing, she used to flesh out old uneven and worn couch pillows and cushions she had with folded out newspapers and towels. Those thing were heavy! And had the give of concrete benches.

Reminds me of a vintage Far Side that had the caption: "Though skilled with their pillow arsenal, the Wimpodites were no match for the Vikings."
