I have been eagerly awaiting this ever since the DVD was announced.  It was on the Amazon.com DVD Decision list and one I voted for.

The thread about DVD Decision 2006: (I did finally find a way to vote for it)

Oh, and looking at that last post, Raj should be happy.  "The Perils of Gwendoline in the Land of Yik Yak" has been out on DVD for some time.  My brother-in-law keeps wanting to borrow it, but Dawn has reservations about the movie.

I have a friend of mine that has the Perils of Gwendoline DVD.

I think it's under some alternate title, but it's the full uncut French version.

Looks like the R1 DVD is entitled simply Gwendoline.

Anyway, back to Gymkata...I actually missed this the first few thousand times, so I have to ask: cheesy good or cheesy bad?

EDIT: never mind, I think I found the answer to that question.  (Poor flag ninjas.)

I'm just going to order it off of Amazon, even though I seem to have the worst luck ordering stuff from them.

No one locally where I live got in Gymkata.

Surprisingly, a guy at the local FYE said that he had about 10 or so calls from people looking for it, so I guess that says something about people's viewing tastes here in Roanoke, VA.    TeddyR

And my order from Amazon.com with "Gymkata" still has not been shipped.  Arrggghhh!

Of course, that Arrggghhh! is the same sound I will make when I watch him finally walk up the stairs on his hands.  Those little shorts...why would you make someone walk under the camera, on their hands, while wearing shorts like that?  And it will be in perfect DVD clarity!

On second thought, maybe it not being here yet is a good thing.

Torgo, you are an evil man.  I hope finding (or making) and posting that picture made your eyes bleed.

All I remember about that movie is that in the climatic fight scene, there just happened to be - by some unimaginable stroke of luck - a pommel horse out in the middle of the street of this little European town.

That is my favorite part, but remember that he also finds the pipe running between the two buildings and uses it like a parallel bar to take out one or two guys.

 BounceGiggle Cheers

That is the best news that I've had since I threw up my lunch ( Twirling Sir Roger Moore: The Wild Geese).

Seriously, Gymkata is my favourite bad movie of all time and I remember seeing it in a cinema in Zimbabwe. It was so bad that it made my eyes water and my bladder dehydrate Buggedout but despite the pain, I truly enjoyed it.

It will probably be a while before it gets here (me have no credit card to buy off Amazon  Bluesad) but it will be worth the wait!!!

None of the stores near where I live got in Gymkata on DVd.

Your best bet is to order it online.
