Cast your vote...

Bruce Willis is one of my favorite actors working today.
He's played a lot of roles but he'll always be John McClane to me.   Thumbup
Die Hard got my vote.
Last Man Standing is my second choice.

What's your favorite Bruce Willis movie?

 Smile

I am probably going to get shot for this, Ash but Hudson Hawk is actually quite a good movie and I enjoy it more every time I see it. The negative critical reaction at the time made me think that the critics felt their money had been spent making the movie. And besides, the film got me hooked on cappucino for life, how bad can that be? Drink

Others I liked:

Die Hard
Last Man Standing
The 6th Sense
Die Hard 2 Die Harder
Die Hard With A Vengeance
Die Hard: Die Already (the spoof that he was "filming" in the "Mad About You" episode
In Country
Armageddon

I voted for 12 Monkeys simply because it's the movie that proved that Willis could really act.

Now that's a brave admission.

I chose Die Hard myself. I like all three, but it set the pace and makes a pretty cool Christmas movie with a difference.

Does his cameo appearance in Loaded Weapon 1 count? TeddyR

BounceGiggle It does count, I think.  TeddyR

Thanks, Menard (what is that in your avatar?)  I think his cameo in that film (I loved him shouting at the gunman "What the hell are you doing?" and then later saying "No problem, no problem" ) is the best scene in that film.

I like Hudson Hawk. (Trevor ducks) TongueOut

I actually don't know, it just seemed to fit.

EDIT: I originally had a picture of Ash as my avatar, but it was way too scary.

I'm really not a Bruce Willis fan at all. Picked PULP FICTION and I also liked LAST MAN STANDING, FIFTH ELEMENT, and SIXTH SENSE.

And I really must give the DIE HARD films a chance. I tried watching them a couple time and it kinda bored me and didn't finish any of them. Again I'm not a big Bruce Willis fan. Just don't find him interesting. I might make it a point to watch all the DIE HARD films all the way through one day.

Lagomorphs: menace or underutilized resource?

« Reply #7 on: February 14, 2007, 11:45:56 AM »

I chose Fifth Element, just because it is one of my favorite films period, and Bruce Willis just happens to be in it. I also loved Die Hard (the first one) and 12 Monkeys. I like Bruce Willis (I was even thinking of doing this exact poll but hadn't gotten around to it yet). Yes, he pretty much plays the same guy over and over, but it is a good character and he is usually fun to watch.

As far as his acting goes, I would say Unbreakable.

In regards to sheer entertainment value, the first Die Hard without a doubt.

I enjoy most of the movies he is in.
The Fifth Element because it is really fun to watch and I watch it the most.
12 monkeys would be my second.

Went with Bandits as my number one choice but I also enjoyed Hudson Hawk, the movie is really out there, it probably appeals to my sense of the ridiculous. I have to say that all of his movies are good, he's one of those actors that I just like to see in a film. TeddyR

The picture you have,Menard,is the charecter that the rock band DISTURBED use as their mascot(kinda like Eddie was for Iron Madien).I know this cuz my 12 year old,Eddie,is a fan of theirs.
I choose Pulp Fiction.
