Anyway, Menard you are quite the character anyway ya look at it.  I'll give you a karma point just for naming yourself after an old family-owned arcade name we had back in the early days of coin-ops (talk about obscure).

Lagomorphs: menace or underutilized resource?

« Reply #31 on: February 23, 2007, 09:59:42 AM »

I think there might be a new religion in this, Menard! No longer shall we be subject to the give and take, the yin and yang, of life. Instead, we shall DEMAND that life give us brownie points or else we'll know the reason why!  TongueOut

Sounds like a plan to me; I'll give you a karma point. The whole thing makes at least as much sense as scientology.

Menards speech made me all teary eyed. I'm speechless............

Gave Menard a Karma today. Because everyone else did  Smile. Remember Menard there's always YATTA when Karma is low Smile. So yes Menard there is always hope (and Therapy, Gigli, Zombie Lake, etc).

Gave Dennis Karma for allowing/accepting/acknowledging that Menard made Poogie feel good. Somehow this was a big step and one that will build upon your great relationship Dennis and Poogie.

And I must confess to giving only one person negative karma and that was when Ashthecat received a -1 Karma. Don't remember why I did it. There was no reason. Probably just wanted to test-fire the negative karma button. There I feel better now. How about you Ash? Karma is nothing more than being over or under. Over or underwear you may ask. Perhaps you didn't ask, but that's not the point. What I'm trying to say is that no matter where you are then that's where your are. Unless your somewhere else then that's a totally different thing. Being two place at once that is. Which reminds me of teleportation which really has nothing to do with being in more than one place at the same time.

And I gave everyone else Karma........well just for participating in the Support For Menard Karma Day. It should be just one of many annual feel good events during the year here at Badmovies.org.

Let's all turn to The Amazing Criswell our B-Movie chaplain for words to live by and for a moment of reflection.

"Greetings, my friends. We are all interested in the future, for that is where you and I are going to spend the rest of our lives. And remember, friends— future events such as these will affect you in the future. You are interested in the unknown, the mysterious, the inexplicable— that is why you are here. And now, for the first time, we are bringing you the full story of what happened on that fateful day. We are giving you all the evidence, based only on the secret testimony of the miserable souls who survived this dreadful ordeal. The incidents, the places… My friend, we can’t keep this a secret any longer! Let us punish the guilty. Let us reward the innocent. My friend… Can your heart stand the shocking facts about grave-robbers from outer space?"

When Criswell says "Let us punish the guilty. Let us reward the innocent" I think he speaks for all of us on the subject of positive and negative karma.

Let the festivities continue !  !  !  !  !

Scott, now we are all here to help you. You need to take it one step at a time.

First: Step away from the VCR.

Now...now...don't pick up that movie.

Scott! No! Don't go for that Umberto Lenzi movie.

No! Dear God! Stay away from that Jess Franco movie.

What is that movie you are holding behind your back Scott?

Is that a nazi zombie movie?

Is it Gigli?

Oh good grief! It can't get any worse than that. Help yourself Scott. Put down that copy of...ummph...Zardoz! Buggedout

You get a karma point for the floating stone head, Scott.

Hey... Scott.   Is the gun good?   Or is the penis good?

Let's take a moment to reflect.

In this thread alone, we have now had mention of head, penis, and vagina; not to mention, liberal use of the term p***y. The search engine bots must be having a field day. TongueOut

Wow this is just a total karma love-fest at the moment isn't it!  I just feel like gushing, but I'll limit it to a 'AAAWWWWWWWWWWWW'.

Oh and Menard, just to add to the search engine bots' work:

penis, vagina, p***y p***y p***y, dirty schoolgirl, hentai, naughty librarian, bdsm, wet tshirt competitions and donkey man on girl on sheep action...

Actually that does remind me of a song by the Brazilian Girls, where the chorus just goes 'p***y p***y p***y marijuana...'

But pledging for karma aside, it would be interesting if this was converted into a karma-charity drive.  Not only could we give karma to those in need, but we could also pledge to donate to charity if we can get Menard up [or down] to a certain point.

Of course, it would be ultimately funnier if we went down, but shhh...
