Since everyone around here has discussed bad video games turned into films, let's go one better:  What movies would you hate to be turned into video game properties?

I think some terrible ones would include:
Ordinary People
To Kill a Mockingbird
The Big Chill

On the other hand, I wouldn't mind playing a game based on Casablanca.

I would hate to see a video game of The Gods Must Be Crazy ~ you would probably lose a life every time you got hit on the head with a Coke bottle.  Drink

I agree with Casablanca ~ I also wouldn't mind to have a video game of Shaun Of The Dead or my favourite movie, Steve Carver's An Eye For An Eye with Mr Chuck Norris.  TeddyR

1.) Brokeback Mountain - for obvious reasons...then again it could be of interest to some...
2.) The Crying Game - see above

1. The Ten Commandments
2. The Nativity Story
3 the Passion Of The Christ

Now I listed these because they are 3 films I can't see it possible to make a video game out of that any gamer would play. Please do not take this as an opening to debate religion because my motives had nothing to do with it.

They turned the film Prince of Egypt into a game, so I wouldn't rule it out !

Some more films that shouldn't be made into a game. Most of these because of bad taste.

Ray
The Rosa Parks Story
Coal Miner's Daughter
Walk the Line
The Elephant Man
The Ringer
A Beautiful Mind
My Left Foot
Shine
The Kite Runner

I would say Dirty Dancing, but they already made into a "video game".  Just check this out http://www.spoonyexperiment.com/2008/08/03/dirty-dancing-pc-review/

As for movies that haven't been turned into a game but I don't want it to happen to...

The Dark Knight (I already know they are working on it, but I hope they drop it because it would be as good as the movie)
The Blob

There's more, but I would have to think on it for a little bit.

Mrs. Doubtfire...imagine the game's plot line;

"Successfully prevent your kids, ex wife and local social worker from disovering you are their cross dressing nanny!  Enjoy several missions such as "hide the pantyhose", "sit down peeing", and many others!"
