My favorite animated show would have to be Family Guy. There was a time that I would have said The Simpsons, but the more recent episoes are lacking in quality. My second favorite would be Futurama, which has gotten renewed and will finally be showing new episodes in the (eventual) future. The third is the Critic. What are your top picks, and why?

Simpsons (though it's been in a lull the last few years)
South Park (always great when they tweak a current event)
Futurama (when are they bringing it back)
I also watch Drawn Together, but it's been kinda hit & miss for when it's on.

I can't stand Family Guy.  I'm with Eric Cartman on this.

I picked The Simpsons, Futurama and King of the Hill.  I like subtle humor, and each of these has their share of that (KOTH has some really subtle stuff).  I liked Family Guy when it first came on, but it seems to now follow the "shock humor" formula more than anything else, and that wears on me pretty quickly.

"Which of these do you watch most often" is not the best way to word the poll. After all, I've seen all the Futurama eps ad nauseum and it's still one of my favorites.

And other than that I picked King of the Hill, even if later shows have been severely lacking. (as with Family Guy, but Family guy is even moreso) The Simpsons is too bland, most of the jokes totally fail. South Park is too damn vulgar to make up for the fact that it satires just about everything rather well.

Drawn Together is like South Park in it's rudeness and crudeness, but unlike South Park, seems to make no good attempts to be funny at all. Never seen Boondocks because it seems just another vulgar show, (and the strip doesn't appeal to me) and American Dad is just "Meh.", despite being a bit better than current Family Guy. So, I have only made my two choices.

One more thing, you left out more obscure choices like Mission Hill and Baby Blues, I'm sure there are others too, but those deserve to be on there.

FUTURAMA by a mile. While I do like THE SIMPSONS quite a bit too, I find my overall enjoyment varies more. Sometimes I enjoy certain shows less than others.  I have to mention two personal faves, both Canadian animated series: UNDERGRADS and 6TEEN.  Both are IMO awesome fun shows, even if they are aimed at a youthful audience.

I like Family guy, but some of the episodes I just can't get into that much.

The Simpsons are an all-time classic.  Yeah, this past season has been dull, but maybe the movie will make up for that a little.  maybe after the movie they're gonna consider ending the show for good, and create a final season to remember.

Futurama.  Great, imaginative show.  Probably the most original series in the bunch.

King of The Hill...I liked the earlier episodes, but now I just see it as a bland, timid entry among the other shows, and the only reason it's still on is to appeal to people who see it as "safe" or "clean" compared to the other shows.

South Park.  I love it.  Even more so than I did years ago.  It's become so much more than the obnoxious fad it was in the late 90's, merely a tool of Spencer gifts to sell T-shirts and other merchandise.  Now it's a force, lampooning everything right and left, but always mindful to never lose its ability to entertain.  Sure, it's vulgar, but it's also funny as hell.

Drawn Together...Just Vulgar...unlike South Park, they're just being outrageous for the sake of being outrageous.  I don't see it lasting another full season.

I watched all of these but South Park, American Dad and Family Guy for me. Futurama was great should have replaced the Simpsons as had the same humor of early Simpsons and Simpsons have been lacking. King of Hill is been sliding but I enjoyed the older episdoes. South Park I still love.

But nothing beats Aqua Teen Hunger Force.  TeddyR

Actually, if I had thought to add it at the beginning, I would have chosen the Critic over drawn together. Too late now.

Its not giving me that option, for some reason. This is my first time doing a poll, so hopefully I'll get it right the next time. Hatred

I would say family guy, but it copies off of simpsons so much i decided not to. Dont get me wrong. Family Guy is histerical......when its original. A good example of this would be when Brian ran out onto a dog track and screwed one of the racing dogs and got her pregnant. SAME EXACT THING happened on The Simpsons with Santa's Little Helper.
