Extraordinary Girl, off of American Idiot by Green Day.

Many people might not like them, but I grew up listening to them.

And, if anything, they got me into the Sex Pistols, Ramones, and The Clash.

2 albums I enjoy popping in on occasion:

They Can't All Be Zingers by Primus.  16 of their 'greatest hits'.  Odd, considering I've never really considered them as a band with hit songs.  Just some great songs, period.

Greatest Hit...And More by Reel Big Fish.  Ska type rock group.  Don't know if anyone else likes them.

Added to playlist...
.BILLY HOLIDAY-Strange Fruit
You're the only one I know who might have added that song to their playlist.  The only other person I can think of who might upload that song would be ... me.  Do you have Billie's original recording or her later re-take with VERVE?

Just her!!!  Thumbup Who's Verve?  Question

My Bela, you've lain in the crypt too long!  VERVE was the last record label for which BILLIE HOLIDAY recorded any significant number of recordings...her best known records were with DECCA in the 40s, however in the 1930s Holiday started with COLUMBIA who would not record "Strange Fruit," so she sought another label and it was recorded by Billie for COMMODORE in 1939 (the flipside was a hit, "Fine And Mellow").  The original recording is hard to find, though I eventually found it on CD.  Billie also re-recorded the song for VERVE, but that version, though powerful and much better known, is inferior to the original.

Can you email it to me?  I will be glad to send you the original if it's different than your version.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

The song title, according to the Lord's myspace page is 'She's Fallen in Love With a Monster Man' ,released in 1964!!! Just read a interview piece on same, and the Lord used to by his clothes in the early 70's at Malcolm McClaren's Teddy Boy shop...and was aquainted with the Sex Pistols, who were big fans as well! Neat-0  stuff...!  Smile
