I think she got pulled over for a DUI and was fined and had her license suspended. But she violated her suspension by driving so they took her to court.

Yes.  But in America, vehicular violations almost always go away if you simply throw enough money at the judge.  The Circuit Court system has no pretense of "equal justice" whatsoever.  In the past, Paris has just paid off the courts.  I want to say this is her 3rd offense, but I could be wrong.

Sometimes though, being a universally despised celebrity can backfire on you; the judge presiding over the most recent case decided to make an example of her.  Haha.

Well I personally want to thank the judge who had that case on his/her docket and not backing down.  I just wish that Paris had at least a year in jail.  Hopefully, though, this experience will give her a swift kick up her ass.  And be famous for better things other than having the last name of Hilton and having a dude shooting up her dook.

I don't condone the hitting of women any more than I do the hitting of children or animals, but my fiancee and her mother both say I get a free pass if I ever see Paris Hilton in public, so I'm in the clear as far as that goes!  TeddyR

What I don't understand is why we or the media spends so much time reporting on this spoiled/talentless airhead! SHE DOESN'T DO ANYTHING!! Do a porno,attend parties and all of a sudden,people want you to make a cd or do a movie..how easy is it to be a celebrity these days??? I could care less about her or Nicole Richie or Donald Trump..could name more,but don't want to run out of space...Give us actors or music groups or artists that we have never heard of instead of this!!!!!
