KARATE COP (1991) - This is some kind of future Mad Max type world where all the law enforcement is gone except one guy who runs around with his special police hat and uniform and drives an old police vehicle along with his dog who dissappears when ever there is trouble. Ron Marchini stars as the cop and he runs into a street gang who takes his car and then finds refuge in a warehouse that has a female leader of a group of kids. Oh, and they happen to have a transporter device inside. Well Karate Cop reluctantly helps out the women and finds himself in the middle of gladiator type games. Lots of garden variety martial arts action and shooting. The dialogue is really bad and I mean the worst. Its amusing for about 15 minutes, but then forget about it. This film is much to painful to recommend even for fans of this site, but if you have the stomach for some bad movie making then you will have more than enough here. The problem is that there is so much mediocre badness that you might give up. By the way Ron Marchini was also the star and producer of
DEATH MACHINES (1976).
