So what finally happened with Tony Gulliver....is he still alive?  Where does he live?  I knew him in the 60s when I was acting at Coconut Grove Playhouse.

WOW, now this is something you don't see every day. It's so great that some folks haven't forgotten some of the most overlooked players in some of the coolest old movies.  CSPWDT graces my DVD collection and gets occasional play, and rightfully so!

What a flip! I'm the girl who recruited Seth to be Orville in the movie. I'm billed as Sandra Laurie (ghoul). I got paid every week at the rate of 135.00. I was the first scary thing to happen in the movie. My hand comes up out of the grave and grabs a guys ankle. I too was used on T.V. or rather my hand was. It opened midnight movies that were horror movies that played at midnight (or course) but I didn't get any residuals from it. I still stay in touch with some of the people that stay in touch with the producers. Bob Clark is again planning  "Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things II" and wants me to be the Dead Bride Again. I'd love to do it if it ever happens. I'm alive and well and living in New Orleans. I can be seen in my Art Gallery, Great Artists Collective at 815 Royal Street, cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.

Hi,
I am doing some research on Tony Gulliver and his home that was used in this movie. My eclectic childhood includes living with my family and TOny in that house in the early sixties. Any TOny friends out there who might remember that...lived in his treehouse in the big banyon tree out front perhaps?

Why yes! It just so happens I know people who lived in the tree house, for a month or more. Tony used to hang out with Gordon Pennington, who was reputed to have thrown some Very Unusual Thanksgiving dinners, if you know to what i refer to surreptitiously  as Gordon's reputation. His house (Gordorn's) was also pretty wild.  Steve Stills went up  into Tony's tree house simply to do his own tripped out thing with his friends and decided he and one other guy decided to stay permanently.   Barbara (his wife then) used to bring him his meals up there, till he got over it. That was more then a few weeks as well.  He started out with a friend and they were both up there for the first week then the friend came down but Steve Stayed  for a much longer time.  We used to visit him up there. After that Neil Young split from the group. he'd been negotiating  to try one more album after his initial foray out on his own, but the tree house thing kind of convinced him to make good his escape.  All this was mid to late sixties. There was a girl with a house near the little drive up grocery every one stopped at in the grove named White Sandy. She hung out with Tony Gulliver, Gordon Pennington and Seth Sklarey. I haven't talked to any one except for Seth in years.  Telling me names you know  from back then will  probably trigger memories and stories.
I firmly believe in six degrees of separation. I'm so tempted to ask who your Mother was. I probably have crossed your path before BUT I'd rather start out trying to aid your research a little more randomly and if you told me some names I'd be able to free associate more freely for the moment, with out the added complication of memory lane singularly directed toward your person. This is already becoming interesting....,
