Oh, Hey!!
Look what our Andrew has done here!!
All the endless positing about possible films & etc. can now have an outlet on the board!!!
What a great site, eh?
So, I'll get the ball rolling:  My latest -- albeit a year old now -- film "Still Water" is getting a screening in Hollywood sometime this Summer, as part of the Flickering Images Festival.  Also, it will be shown in Boulder, Colorado, again sometime in August at The Boulder Theatre on the big screen.
My last film, "Drum", is still in editing, and will probably take a bit longer before public consumption --
Meantime, check me out on the IMDB at Peter Johnson (V), if you are a local (Colorado area) filmmaker, or if you're actually PAYING MONEY for roles, I am always available!!

BounceGiggle peter whore / denny cheap?  TeddyR

I don't know if I qualify to be here, but I am a semi-professional film archivist of 18 years standing and tottering around, I have assisted on almost 50 productions, one of which was nominated for an Oscar and the other just recently won an Emmy. I have written a book on the history of the film industry here and am currently working on a script, based on the Hammond Innes thriller The Lonely Skier.

I also have the proud distinction of having my arse kicked off the set of The Ghost & The Darkness when they were filming in Pretoria and was almost arrested for trespassing because of that.  Buggedout

I can add Peter's IMDB profile link here:

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0425992/

Peter, with a name like yours, did you ever think about going into porn?

Okay, put the potted plant down.  I know you've probably heard it a million times, but it was funny to me.

I'm afraid I've worked with a fellow whose names is similar to but beats Peter's.  He had the (mis)fortune of being named Peter Willy Johnson.  Lookingup

Lagomorphs: menace or underutilized resource?

Hey, I know a Mike Hunt, too! The company I used to work for did some work for a guy named Harry Johnson. I giggled inwardly every time I got an e-mail from him.

Whoa! --
Haven't been here in awhile --
I used to do a standup comedy routine that opened with the following:
(Wait for name introduction)
"Yes, that's right!  You heard right.  My name . . . IS Peter Johnson, and that's very unfortunate, because I grew up in a part of the South wherein both the word "Peter" and the word "Johnson" were synonymous for the same organ . . . (Hold for laugh) . . .
Yes, I used to grow up with things like:  (Different voice)  "Peter? . . . Peter Johnson?  Well, s**t, Boy!!  Why didn't your momman call you 'Dick Dick'?"  (Hold short for laugh)
(Smacking action against head) . . . Aw, c'mon, Dad  . . . Cut it out . . .
(Huge end laugh).
* * *
If you think acting or film-making is difficult, do try standup comedy sometime . . . though, in point of fact, I did make some money & did quite well . .
I am STILL, however, waiting for the fringe genius who reads this website to come on board & cast me in a great BAD MOVIE!!
Oh, by the by, "Still Water" is showing in Hollywood as part of the Flickering Images Film Festival in August and "Still Water" is also showing again at the Boulder Theatre here in Colorado again in August as well.

And speaking of "Still Water", it's now been added/linked to my IMDB page --
Even though the film has been playing around the country for several months now, I get my first look at it/my own DVD copy of it at the Official Cast/Crew Wrap Party this Saturday.
Anyway, it's nice to see a new film credit/2007 film credit on my page there -- ROBOchic only goes so far . . .
