MINDWARP (1990) - This is a good one that has a futuristic evil dead feel to it. One of the stars is Bruce Campbell who plays the surface love interest of an inner world dreamer. In the future there are people who are plugged into a virtual reality thing only waking occasionally to eat and use the bathroom. I don't want to give away to much, but there are also surface people in what is some kind of dead planet. One is Bruce Campbell who is the only surviving human on the surface and the others are somekind of infected canibalistic subterranean human creatures called "crawlers" with grotesque features. A female unhappy with the inner world is taken to the surface and buried, but she is still alive and gets out of her grave and is captured by the grotesque creatures and rescued by Bruce Campbell. The whole film is pretty good and it's a mix of futuristic stuff and crazy gore evil dead style. There is even a corpse grinder ! ! !
