Just caught this show last night and thought it was fun. I'm using vacation time, so I'm home and awake later than usual and I find this show. Just read that it's been on since Sept. 2005.

Not that its necessarily a bad thing, but it reminds me so much of when he used to do weekend update on SNL. I watch it, and I keep expecting opera man to show up (which is weird in and of itself, because I hate Adam Sandler).

Sandler was pretty good on SNL -- lots of the cast members are, but they don't translate well to film.  I liked Opera man -- seemed like a difficult character to pull off as you have to have an operatic voice as well as silly lyrics.

When Spade was on SNL his scathing and hillarious Hollywood Report got a lot of people p**sed in the biz so he stopped doing it for a while.  He eventually came back, but he used a puppet of himself to do the report.  I don't think I ever laughed so hard in my entire life.
