Someone visiting my site sent me this one and I have no idea what it is. I thought I'd turn it over to the experts.

I was wondering if you could help me out? I saw a movie on cable many years ago(maybe 10 or so) One scene in particular was very memorable: A young woman if I remember correctly is sitting outside of her house when the killer (who I believe was in disguise) sits down next to her and proceeds to slowly slide a long thin blade deeply into her side. I dont know if it was a flashback or dream sequence scene but I have remembered it as it was a graphic memorable scene. You seem well informed on these type of films so I thought I'd ask you as I can't find what movie it was.

Anyone have an idea?

This is probably totally wrong, but ...

There's a scene in The Vindicator in which a hitwoman, played by Pam Grier, sits down next to a girl and slooooooooowly runs her through with a long, thin blade.

From the description provided, however, I'd guess the mystery scene actually comes from a giallo.
