ROAD RAGE (2000) a.k.a. A Friday Night Date - Starring Casper Van Dien who played Johnny Rico in
STARSHIP TROOPERS. This has got to be one of the dumbest films I've seen this year, but it's also strangely watchable. It's the type of film that could give you brain damage in a single viewing. The dialogue is so bad and the characters follow the dialogue. It's about a college guy who sees a female classmate get roughed up by an ex-boyfriend and steps in to stop it. After that he drives the girl home, but they accidently cut off a black pick-up truck with tinted windows who starts to chase them on the highway in heavy traffic. There's a major pile up on the highway and they drive to the police station for help, but he police pull their guns on them when they arrive. After talking to the police they head home and agree to go out after surviving this incident only to meet up again with this black pick-up truck who crashes into a gas station to kill them, but they get out just in time. Now the truck is chasing them while on fire at night and for some reason our couple take a back road and later it's revealed who's in the truck as the chase goes through the wilderness.
(5 out of 10 Stars) "So bad..........it just might be good." You've heard that before. Well this film just might deliver, but beware and have another film ready quick.
