My mistake, the only version I've seen is from the Italian print.
Doctor Butcher M.D. is how it was released in the states. Contrary to popular misconception, there is no more or less gore between the two versions. The
Doctor Butcher M.D. cut (aside from the way cool name
) has an added intro using footage from a short subject which is outright cheesy, trims a little from the early scenes in the city (you won't miss it as it makes the movie move along better), and adds just a little in the sound effects and soundtrack.
It stacks cheese on top of cheese.
