Sorry if this topic comes up a lot but I haven't seen one latley, and I know there's no shortage of bad movies....

my pics:

Biohazard, the director wanted to keep his kid ocupied durring filming so he had him play the monster,  there's nothing like seeing a 9 year old in a monster suit terrorizing people.

Nightbeast, plot-holes, bad acting, bad effects, and the fact that the Nightbeast only seems to appear durring the day make this one of my favorite bad movies.

Dr Butcher MD aka Zombie Holocaust, basically a Zombi rip off with a few cannibals thrown in. I'm not a big fan of the Itallian horror but this is one entertaining piece of work. Gotta love the outboard motor scene.

Good choices.  A review for "Nightbeast" is coming in the future; my best guess is that I will post it around late September or so.

"Dr. Butcher MD" is one that I am waiting for on DVD.  I think that I have a VHS of it in my collection at present.  There is a reader review for it right now.  Akiratubo wrote it a long time ago, probably around 2000:

I got one. Andrew, I don't mean to rush you or bear a burden on you, but you really try and track down a copy of Ganjasaurus Rex. I'm pretty sure you can find it on eBay, because you can find pretty much anything there.

I don't have that one, but have been meaning to get it forever.  In recent years, I put off obtaining a VHS copy until a DVD comes along.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

I finally picked it up on DVD.  I have seen it before and it pains me.  Going off of memory alone, a definite skull.  The dance by the tarantula girl was the best part, again going off of memory.  It's as boring as "Lost Continent," but without the riveting rock climbing scenes.

There would probably be a lot of "Why am I watching this movie?  Arrgggghhh!" in the article.

The Jar.

I think this turkey is only available on VHS as that's what I have it on. It came out in 1984 and the threadbare plot involves some hippie guy who is riding his motorcycle one day and comes upon an automobile accident of some sorts.  He discovers a jar/bottle in the wreckage that has some kind of non descript demon/monster/alien thing in it and proceeds to take it home where it proceeds to somehow take over his mind and make him go insane, without leaving the confines of THE JAR!!!

This is easily one of the most boring movies that I've ever seen. They were trying to some kind of Cronenberg-esque cerebral approach at times and failed miserably.

This is the one flick I unleash on people who say that there hasn't been a movie that they've had to cut off before due to being too bad/boring.

Im thinkin reviews for SSSSSSS, NIGHTBREED, TROUBLE MAN, ALIENS FROM SPACE (aka Killers from Space), G-MEN FROM HELL, PHANTASM, and GHOST OF CHICKEN would be nice to see. Ive been meaning to write one for RE-ANIMATOR, but I always get distracted.

Hey I have an idea! Why dont each of us just write one review of a movie that we wanted to be on here? In a week or so we could have a dozen new reviews! Seems fairly simple.

I have to do all my posting while I'm at work being that I terminated all of my services at my house (cable/ land line/ internet ) to conserve a bit more on money so I wouldn't be able to contribute at the moment.

But there's another flick that I would like to review at some point in the future called The Adventures of The Kung Fu Rascals starring none other than bassist/vocalist Les Claypool as the evil sherrif.   TeddyR

Here's a few:

Body Count -- Brigitte Nielsen and Sonny Chiba vs. Robert Davi and Steven Bauer.
Rectuma -- Man's grotesquely swollen rump vs. Los Angeles.
City Dragon -- MC Kung Fu vs. anyone who happens to be standing around at the time.
The Borrower -- Rae Dawn Chong vs. a sadistic head-swapping alien psychopath.
Super Fuzz -- Terrence Hill vs. a ruthless organized crime syndicate.

This can never truly claim to be THE definitive site for bad movies until someone reviews
NINJA BACHELOR PARTY.  I can't do it because my local video store sold their only copy!

Earth vs. the spider - I'm sure a lot of you heard about this one.

Slappy and the Stinkers - A bunch of kids (The Stinkers) want to save a seal named Salppy... woo?  Lookingup

Godzilla vs. Megalon - The cheesiest Godzilla movie. A giant termite thing is a god to aliens called seatopians

Gamera vs. Zigra - The only movie you get to see Gamera playing a shark like a drum

One of these days I really want to take a stab at writing some of those "Reader Reviews", starting with SHE-DEVILS ON WHEELS, or maybe Dwain Esper's MANIAC.
