Man, I have my hands full with just one cat who's 17 now.  I'm going to get a couple of kittens from a same litter once something happens to him.

I can't imagine having 130 cats. That's insane.

Holy crap!

I wonder how big her home is.  Are they all kept in that one room or do they have the run of the place?
You'd have to have a huge house to keep all those cats.

Having that many would be illegal here in the U.S.

And the stench would be unbearable!   Buggedout
Cleaning their litter boxes would be a full time job.

yeah i saw one of those Rescue Pet shows on Animal Planet once where they went into some old ladies house who had so many cats that she was living in her car because they took over the house.

They literally - took over the house. Breeding and having feral kittens so there were HUNDREDS of them. They spent forever trapping the ones they could catch. At one point the animal control guy went in the basement and a roar of cats ran behind a wall. He shined his flashlight into a dark crack and saw tons of cats crammed ontop of eachother...eyes just beaming in the dark. They had to go back in with those biohazard suits on because of the stench. My grandma at one point had about 10 in her house and it was pretty bad. I guess cats are like chips - it's hard to have just 1..lol

But i had my last cat for 18 years, just her. I woudn't mind having 2 except i'm scared to get another one, i'm afraid that Mia might kill it while it sleeps

I've seen that episode. Talk about disturbing.   They had to put them all down as well.

It's really sad how this kind of thing happens....some nice person takes in a few strays to care for then next thing you know they've got chronic cats.

I saw an episode of one of those shows once where the Animal Control folks were trying to take a woman's 40+ dogs, and while they were taking some out of one room she'd be in the next hiding others behind dressers and in closets.

1 cat ok (the maximum number allowed inside the house)
2 cats ok if there outside cats.
3 cats only if they are barn cats killing mice and earning their keep.
4 cats that's pushing it.
5 cats ... 4 better be kittens looking for a home
6 to 50 you might want to consider therapy
50-100 you'd better be in therapy
101 or more ... it's time you're locked up in a padded room.
