for some reason I've always got a kick out of Ginuwine's "Pony" video.   It's one of those bump grind r &b songs but the video takes place in a country western bar, I guess as a play on the "pony" theme.  It's ridiculous

Take Avenged Sevenfold's So Far Away, which honor's their co founder and drummer, The Rev, who O.D.ed on a cocktail of drugs.

Not the greatest ever, but I have to give a shout out to my friend's company which made this excellent video for Gotye which won a ton of awards recently.  Its a pretty awesome video:
