to figure then the lathe of heaven (i cant express how much i appreciate your figuring that one out)

this was a scifi that had johhny cash and the had the waltons 'john' boy as the star.i remember his ship looked like a female torso with breasts.no lie.there was this need to try to recruit other aliens for the cause.

actually one more  i am trying to remember was this one where its sort of future or fantasy based anyways.i can only remember these lizard guys that would ambush people by springing out of the leaves.

well good luck.i appreciate any feedback.

The first is definitely Battle Beyond the Stars, though I don't remember Johnny Cash being in it.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

I concur with Shadow.
The first film is definitely Battle Beyond the Stars.

As for the lizard movie...
Hmmm.

Did there happen to be a hero with a magic bow and arrow and, at the end, did the evil King/whatever guy find a magic axe to use against the hero?

Akiratubo probably has your film pegged.  "Archer: Fugitive from the Empire" is a fantasy film.  The bad guy's forces included the silly lizardmen and the hero had the Heartsbow.

"The Archer" was my first thought too.  The first appearance of the snake-men has them leaping out the leaves to ambush a pair on horseback.

Thanks, Andrew.  I intended to say, "If so, your movie is ..." but I didn't include that for some reason.
