First, a Heroes Haiku:

I pre-ordered it
I will see Hiro again
happy geek am I

So, Heroes finally comes out on DVD this Tuesday.  I pre-ordered it from Buy.com last week and it was shipped Thursday.  Can't wait to finally get to see the episodes again, this time with the extended pilot!

Heroes was a show that I didn't watch when it first started airing.  I ended up buying a few of the episodes from Itunes just to see what all the fuss was about.  Turns out, it's a fantastic show.

If anyone else plans to order it online, check out Buy.com.  If you use Google Checkout on the site, you can get 10.00 off!

Anyone else going to pick this up?  Anyone else looking forward to the new season!?

Actually, I just got the first disc in from Netflix yesterday.  Didn't see it when it aired, but I've been hearing a lot about it, so I thought I'd check it out (which is exactly how I got sucked into watching Lost.)

I bought it when it came out, but have only seen two episodes to date.  It is pretty good.

I have to get on watching them, though, since the first episode of season two has aired, and my Heroes watching friend and companion will get mad if I don't get to watch it with her soon.

That's basically the problem with story intensive television shows.  I miss the first few episodes and don't want to watch the rest until I've seen them.  I missed the first few episodes of Lost season 3, so now have to wait until the DVD set is out.

If only Battlestar Galactica would come back on the air, I'd be a happy man.

It's worth your time Mofo.  Like I said, I didn't start watching until after the first season ended.  Got caught up via episodes on the internet and Itunes.  It's an epic show and one that I think most of us here would enjoy.

The Season 2 pilot left me a bit cold but I'm hoping it'll pick up in the next few weeks.
