Earlier systemcr4sh mentioned if he should get a cheap DVD of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD. Well pal, I got news for you. If you want to go out of your way to own this movie then I suggest you go to Amazon.com and place a special order for Elite's new DVD release of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD complete with NEW EXTRA'S and in THX.

If you REALLY LIKED THE FILM, then get that one and don't waste your time on a cheap DVD that has bad picture quality and no extras. Believe me, that has happened to me before.

Colorized?  Are you crazy boy?  Ugghhhhhhhh... we don't do colorized movies here in Nilbog.
But on the other hand if you're considering the special edition NOLD with the new scenes added, I wouldn't bother with that either.  I for one didn't care for the new music too much and I don't care what anyone says, those newly filmed scenes look WAAAAYYYY outta place with the rest of the movie.

Oh, a VHS copy. Well, for a cheapo price of $6 it would be worth it. But it colorized! Like what C. Hill said, DON'T BOTHER. I have a SLP TV copy of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD colorized and it looks BAD. It's better to have it in it's original black and white version.

If you have DVD, NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD Millennium Edition is the way to go and don't bother with the re-edited and re-scored version released by Anchor Bay.

Buy the tape, then record the original version over it!  Oh, the beautiful irony!

(Note: this probably isn't legal and I probably shouldn't have recommended it.  Still, the thought was too good to pass up.)

Better news -- if you want a cheap VHS, you can probably do better at one of your local pawnshops.  (You wouldn't believe how many copies of this there are out there.)

Or...

[talk amongst yourselves while I do some quick checking]

One buck starting bid, no current bidders, five hours till closing, $3.50 for shipping.
