I was about, 10/11 years old when she came out with that Stay (I Missed You) song that was in Reality Bites.  I had a crush way back then on her.  Just recently added her music/myspace page on my friends list.

That quote I said was actually from a Mike Nelson hosted episode of MST3K.  They had some woman playing Lisa Loeb and she was on the satellite of love singing that "stay" song, but with funny lyrics.
Mike Nelson and Tom Servo kept saying "Kids love the Lisa Loeb!" so I always have to qutoe that whenever someone brings her up.

As for Lisa, she's got a fantastic body, or at least she did back when she hit big with that single, I just wish that she had taken off those glasses once in a while though....................

I don't remember that particular episode of MST3K.  Which movie was it during the episode?  Hopefully it's one that was released to dvd.

As for her glasses, I don't know.  I kinda like a chick with glasses, especially when she falls into that 'hot librarian type.'

I'll dig through my episode guide at home and see if I can find the episode that it is on.

As for women and glasses, I like certain women who wear glasses a lot as well but I never cared for those old granny style glasses that Lisa Loeb always wears.  She's actually very pretty without them.

She is very pretty.  Which boggles my mind when I think of the fact that she dated Dweezil Zappa of all people.

He seems like a cool guy and everything, but woah.

Ashley Tisdale.  Known a bit more for her acting, she does have a recording contract.

I haven't been posting much in this thread since I suck at finding good online photos much less linking to them, but it sure is worth following.

I was talking with a buddy about Lisa Loeb the other day actually, while watching one of those VH-1 countdown time vacuum marathons. We both agreed she is hot but kind of bland anyway, but it's the juxapositon of the glasses (which IIRC she doesn't actually need according to interweb lore) that puts her over the top. But I'm also a fan of the women with glasses look, the granny look really works for some of them also, like a certain girl at one of my local video stores. I went out with a girl this summer who was very cute, but the glasses she wore (especially with her hair down) just gave her that certain extra something.

It's that slightly nerdy factor of the glasses, maybe it makes Loeb seems approachable. And what's wrong with Dweezil, at least it wasn't Ahmet Zappa.

I've always liked Joan Jett, but I'm sure she'd hurt me, not sure I'd mind.

I was always a fan of Ginger Spice, but Baby looks the best in their reunion days.

There are some sharp looking women in Country music, even if I hate most of the mainstream popular stuff these days.

Try googling Sara Evans of Dancing with the Stars and messy divorce fame, Sweet face and a rocking body.

Others I like:

Allison Moorer
Kim Richey (but she's not as cute as she was when she was younger)
Mandy Barnett
Shedaisy (Kelsi, the redhead and Kassidy, the brunette, the blonde does nothing for me)

I really need lessons on posting images.......

BTW, I heard from someone who's business realtes to the music business, Allison Krause is surprising not as nice and sweet as her public image.

I've got nothing against Dweezil.  What I meant was I just didn't picture her with him of all people.  I'm not a fan of Ahmet really, but Dweezil I don't mind.  He's just a big goofball and was actually in a favorite movie of mine.  I can't word what I'm trying to say.  Kinda like, Drew barrymore and Tom Green: you just don't picture them together, but for whatever reason they dated and or got married.

I figured it was msuic that was the Dweezil/Lisa connection. I'm not a fan of his original stuff, but the guy is a great guitar player. I know he's leading that Zappa Plays Zappa band now, guess he decied to pay tribute to Dad since he couldn't really escape his shaodw. Ahmet just seems like a an outsized personality with little real talent that I've seen anyway.

Tom Green and Barrymore (she does make a movie I like once in a while though) both annoy me, so when I heard they were together it seemed almost natural. Didn't Drew date like a series of grubby musicians, I see her as a girl with questionable taste in men, another thing that made Green sound like a good fit for her.

No one's yet mentioned Hannah Montana aka Kiley Cyrus?

After Dick Clark's Rockin' Eve, I thought it was a given.

Sorry.....       Lookingup
