I just started playing Dark Souls - Prepare to Die Edition.  Even though it's difficult, you get a real sense of accomplishment when you kill a boss.

Are you playing console or PC? Because the PC version is garbage by comparison.

Dark Souls is one of my favorites but the PC version was intolerable.  Bluesad

The PC version I'm afraid.  I got it during the Steam sale.

Pity. Well if you can get your hands on a console version I'd highly recommend it. The game runs best on PS3. (But I've heard X360 is okay too)

Dark Souls: PTDE just killed it for me with the low render distance, limited frame rate, 720p lock, and the gaming cancer known as Game For Windows Live.

Borderlands 2 was $12 on steam this weekend, so bought it with a bunch of add-ons.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Doing a third playthrough of Skyrim.  Using archery, sneaking and a bit of conjuration magic this time, just for something different.

I can only imagine this was the result of some horrible skydiving accident

I just finished the Dragonborn DLS for Skyrim and I have to say that the Vampire Lord put up WAY more of a fight than Mirak did! I was actually suprised...anyhow I have the Stahlrim armor and things are looking up. I should have gotten the PV version thugh and not the '360 version.  I hear the mods for the PC version are astounding.

Borderlands 2 and trying a few things out.  Trying to enjoy I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream but having trouble getting back into an adventure game mode.

An old, controversial, barely released arcade game called CHILLER (1986, Exidy).
Use a rifle to shoot various targets.  Some targets include tortured innocents, and sometimes you can shoot certain devices to finish them off (a rack, a head press, a guillotine, etc.).  Very disgusting!

You bought the arcade game itself, or did you get an emulator? If it's an emulator, where did  you get it from? I must own!  hot

The emulator is MAMEUI64.  There are several other versions of MAME, but this one works well for me.

Chiller was released for the NES, without Nintendo's permission.

I noticed there was a NES version but yes, I surmised that it wasn't via Nintendo's permission (as it did not carry their "Seal of Approval").

Playing L.A. Noire on the '360.  Not too bad! The game is definitely a homage to Dragnet, with the two detectives and the Jack Webb style narration at the beginning. It's a bit different than what Rockstar put out on the past, and a change of pace from shooting up the town and stealing every car you see. Pretty good!   Cheers

Playing a weird old Konami arcade game called JUNGLER.  There is nothing remotely related to jungles in this game!  You're a centipede trying to kill other centipedes.
