Joel is back with Frank and Trace!  This is freaking awesome!  It looks like Rifftrax doesn't have a corner on film riffing business.   TeddyR

Wow!  Sounds promising.  Thanks for the update.

Any speculation on what the 1st movie could be? "Our first release is at this time a total secret, however Ė I'm willing to say it makes 'Manos the Hands of Fate' look like 'Santa Claus Conquers the Martians' in a car wreck with 'Eegah!' with notes of peach."

Also, what happened to Joel's hair?

Did he tear out handfuls watching that mysterious pilot movie?

"The basic plot is that Donna Speir and Hope Marie Carlton, the two undercover DEA agent Playboy Playmates from the last movie, are still running around in jungle shorts, cowboy boots and spaghetti strap T-shirts, firing their machine guns at drug smugglers, Filipino communist guerrillas, and corrupt federal agents while their two friends, Lisa London and Miss May 1984 Patty Duffek, lounge around the pool a lot and talk on speaker phones that look like fax machines."-Joe Bob on SAVAGE BEACH

I saw this and almost started a separate topic on it, I was so excited!  Signed up for their newsletter almost immediately.

It'll be good to see/hear Joel making fun of movies again - and the original gang from the KTMA days, too.

Good news.  I loved MST3K back in school, and even when I graduated high school and they moved to Sci-Fi Channel, I continued to watch.  Hopefully it'll be a great experience.

Now if they could just lower the price of the dvd's, I'd be happier.
