Sci Fi Monster sings "I wanna eat your face..."

One I remember from when I was a kid - a sci fi movie with a monster in a cell - the crew had some kind of translater on and the monster dances around singing, "I wanna eat your face"

Anyone have an idea on this one?

That should be "The creature wasn't nice" (1983) AKA "Naked Space", obviously referring to the Naked Gun movies, because of the appearance of Leslie Nielsen. This quote is actually referred to at the imdb: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082213/quotes

I thought it was The Green Slime.  Wasn't there a similar skit where they have the monster in a containment field and he does a song and dance routine like that?
Or are my brain cells fried?

Green Slime has that freaky 60s rock theme song.  But none of them ever bust a movie...
