Also noticed the word "sexcited". Hmmm....If I  wanted to get sexcited-I don't think I would be looking for sexcitment in a movie called the DEAD HATE the LIVING.    Unless necrophilia is  your thing...

Bio-Zombie is from the 90s, and is better than the Dead Hate the Living and Junk.  All three are worth a watch, I'd vote Dead Hate the Living as the worst of the three though.

I thought it was quite good back when I was a teenager and I plenty picky then and disliked anything new. Dog Soldiers taught me other wise.

I wrote this thread nearly 4 1/2 years ago.

Funny thing, I still haven't seen The Dead Hate the Living! yet.
I had planned to rent it from that mom & pop video store but they went out of business so I never got to rent it.

I always thought the creature on the cover looked more like an alien than a zombie.

Here's the straight dope:

• It's by horror fans and they take every opportunity to drop names.  Five minutes don't go by before someone mentions a Fulci movie.
• The story is nonsensical.  Completely.
• The monster designs are good but the good ends there...
• ...unless you count the theme song by Penis Flytrap

Yep indeed, the horror references start to get annoying after the first 5 or so times.  It gets goofy.  Other than that,  I don't recall much of this film except the bad guy looking like Rob Zombie.

I didn't like it. The box claimed that it was an "Argento-ish" type flick, but that is total BS. Halfway through the movie my ex said "this is bad, isn't it?" to which I replied "yes".
