Woman in Fury (1985)

                                  I watched this over Thanksgiving and it was sort of appropriate.  No,  I wasn't raised in a brazilian jail, but I have been watching b movies and exploitation for a long time.  The nudity and violence here are like, say,  the mashed potatoes and stuffing at thanksgiving.  You don't judge them by much  more than how much they resembled past thanksgivings.  You don't think about the fact that maybe the string beans are a little over cooked or your sister is meandering a little bit in the conversation about her car woes.  You just know you are in the right place.   Actually , what am I talking about, the hotness of the female actresses are very important and not at all like stuffing.  But the main girl is beautiful and the movie is raw all the way through.

      Unpretentious to the point of anonymity, this movie outstrips, no pun intended, much more venerated and expensive WIP flicks.  The women are better looking, the director is disciplined, if you will, in having violence, sex or both on the screen at the same time.  Even at the most dramatic points of the story, care is taken to look up the girls skirts and down their blouses.  I would give this 5 stars but the second half does drag a little.  The dubbing is hilarious "I have a good mind to denounce you!!".   Why don't they make movies like this now?  Surely some of the reality show wanna be's in Hollywood can be put to use by similarly visionary Italians.  in Brazil.
