Andrew told me this was like "an early Girls Gone Wild...but HOTTER". Well, I guess I'm the gullible one*. This is a kind of horrific Christian Sharia law movie. It's made in 1998 but is inexplicably set in the 80's. The father forbids his daughter, Pamela who is kind of hot and probably looks like Demo Moore now, from dating because he for some reason wants her to have her first kiss on her wedding night! Hey dad, do you think teenagers lips only operate at night? are plot holes "christian"?
Anyway, word about this gets out and young Pamela becomes the butt of jokes even at her all white christian high school. In one scene she walks up the stairs, turns around, and a group of 6 or so boys bursts out laughing. I watched it about ....11 times and it was still hilarious somehow. Her father, who is actually a nice guy, agains forbids her daughter from attending a basketball game accompanied by a boy, even though he is "the best christian in school" according to Pamela (he gives the most to charity? is the most humble? the criteria is never explained)
the MST3K lines virtually write themselves. the music makes "deep thoughts with jack handey" sound like Motorhead. the dvd contains previews for about 6,000 other teen scare films by the same director which are impossible to tell apart.
also, on the walls of the fathers office there is a poster for a movie called "Kevin can wait". clever imitations of popular movie titles aren't the only thing this genre has with porno.
