I got bitten by a dog yesterday: I should have sued the owner and kicked the sh*t out of the dog, so, off to the emergency ward in a few minutes.

Hope it's not too bad... well, you're off too emergency so it's not good either.  I'm sorry Trevor!

Thanks, BrotherB: called my doctor and she said she could help me if I wasn't feeling ill (which I'm not) and if I wasn't allergic to penicillin. That little [expletive deleted] bit me hard on the leg and its' owner was like "So, what must I do?"  Thumbdown

If you right click on a Youtube video while it's playing, there's an option called "stats for nerds"  TeddyR

Jeez!  I hope you're OK!

I had a similar thing happen to me yesterday!  Only it was an insect that bit me, and it was on the toe next to my little toe.  It itched so bad that it woke me up from a nightmare I was having about Miley Cyrus trying to frame me for murder.

STEAKS!!!!!
We hardly every buy beefsteak, but one of those groups that sells steaks as a fundraiser was set up at our local mall this week, and I got a whole crate of individually wrapped, USDA inspected steaks of various cuts - over 60 steaks total - for $129.  Tonight we had rib-eyes and T-bones.
My tummy is VERY happy right now.

That actually sounds really amusing!  Who's the author on the board?

*opening a new window to check previous posts*

Ok.  I can't find who it is, but you know who you are.  I think we need a short story!  Plus if it works out, You can sell the rights to The Asylum, and Paquita gets 10%!

It's funny to me, the way people never seem to learn from their mistakes. We should be on another planet by now, is all I'm saying.

I'm still suprised that we manage to get anywhere in space.  If you really think about how fast everything is moving and the distances involved it's amazing!

If science has concluded that a thought has measurable mass, then doesn't that validate ancient philosophies which hold that the very ideas which pass through the brain are both physically real and spiritually significant in terms of the thinker's place on a particular path to salvation/nirvana/righteousness?  Everything from Buddha's emphasis on "right thought" to Jesus' remarks on adultery in the heart, to Solomon's Proverbial "as a man thinks in his heart, so is he" would seem to relate to the concept of a thought existing in material reality. To extend that, anything which is capable of thought is therefore a creator.

Now if I could just comprehend how a neutrino can exist devoid of all mass...
