I watched about 5 minutes of the football game last night.  Brady threw an interception and then got knocked down as the other team ran in for a touchdown.  Mike Trico was talking about how maybe there should have been a penalty for someone touching the quarterback.  Then there was a penalty for the guy who scored the touchdown because he dropped to one knee to celebrate after the TD.

Now today I see the BBC World News is making a stink about the fact that the guy was Muslim so it must be racist to penalize him.  World news folks.

I love October. Probably the only thing I don't like about it is how all those FM DJs call it "Rocktober". I bet that stopped sounding witty sometime in the 1950s and they Oc-to-be ashamed of themselves.

Hamilton Comic con is this Saturday.  It's a smaller one.  The main guests listed are Lou Ferrigno and Julie Newmar.

Buggedout  Julie Newmar???   Why does that seem a tad surreal?  Wow.

Julie Newmar. I haven't heard her name in years.  I still remember her as Catwoman on the old Batman tv series.

I just finished eating 2 multi grain high fiber low carb muffins each with 1/2 tble. spoon of peanut butter, it's like eating a piece of tree bark. Having high cholesterol and now being a type II diabetic is really putting a crimp in my breakfast menu.

I was saying the name Debbie Wasserman Shultz to myself, that's the kind of thing you do when you work alone for 8 hours a day. I tried to say wasserman shultz a couple times in a row and it ended up "wash em in soap". maybe that could be her campaign slogan. she's a random Hillary clone from Florida or something

I also remember her playing a robot in a comedy series back in the early 1960's.

If I had a brain, I would put bullets in it...

That way, If my room mate ever tried to borrow my bullets without asking, then conveniently forget to pay me back, he wouldn't know where to find them....

Because he'd see the brain & assume I never use it for anything...

In terms of mosquito larvae, I think JIGGLERS would make a good movie title...

Reminds me of a childhood moment at my grandparents' house. Out by the porch was a formerly empty flowerpot or some such that had accumulated rainwater over weeks, and mosquito larvae inhabited it. Was the first time I'd ever seen them, so I just sat there and watched them swim / jiggle around in the stagnant water ...  TongueOut
