Might need surgery. Never had one.

Fell and badly hurt my knee. Twice. In a month

Hopped up on meds now. Orthopedic and MRI tomorrow.

Sorry to hear that.  Surgery is no fun.  Best of luck.

Just chased down, caught, and sold four male goats.
Did you know that it takes 5 people to catch one six month old goat who is afraid of trailers?

I am so tempted to use the vocal from 2:02 to 2:11 in the video as my ringtone. Why? Purely for the purpose to see people's reactions when they hear it.  BounceGiggle

I was reading a paper last night on how violent movies and video games make people violent and have decided to test this theory out.

While normally I avoid these types of games I am going to pick up lots of golfing, football and american football games and play the obsessively for a couple of months to see if I turn into a pro sportsman.

At 2:17 AM this morning I was awakened by a massive crashing sound. Naturally, yet again, I thought, "Well, the Elder Gods have returned at last." But, nope, humanity can rest assured, it was only a bookshelf my grandmother had installed here fifty years ago choosing its exact moment in time to yield to gravity and send three-hundred pounds of novels spilling nine feet to a hardwood floor. I'm just glad no one was hurt by that.

PS I typed "Elder Gods" above, and now I'm suddenly getting Elder Scrolls banner ads. Wow...

My friend/drummer's sister has a pet pot bellied pig. Often she leaves it at his house whenever her and her husband go to the States or somewhere out of Montreal. I have been over when the hog was present and let me tell you: I have never seen a more foul beast.

See, dogs and cats will cuddle with you and love your company. The pig only cares about food as it waddles around sniffing the floor looking for food, coming over to you to see if you have any and then waddling away when you lack nourishment. It also tends to either grunt loudly or scream whenever it's hungry. The sounds it makes...some of the most hideous and disgusting I've ever heard. Keep in mind his sister has it on a diet so we can't be feeding it constantly, which is why it gets that way. It's not allowed to hog out as much as it wants.

While I say this, we are going to use a sample of its cries for the intro of an EP we're working on.

Yesterday someone started talking about how a company was planning on remaking old TV shows that were cancelled before their time (Firefly immediently sprang to my mind). Sounded good so far.

Then they told me, because the actors & actresses in some of these shows had aged / moved on etc they were going to remake them using puppets and the first show up to be redone was Star Trek: TNG.

I really should have seen the next line coming when he told me they were looking for people to help make the hand puppets... "Make it sew!"

*sigh* This day just gets worse. One of the local towns has an annual piping festival which my wife likes to go to. I told her the weather report for tomorrow was predicted to be rainy and she quite innocently replied to me that "There will be a lot of wet people blowing things". Before I read that I had never quite thought of Forres as a possible location for a porn movie.
