My daughter Rebecca just finished reading my novel, THE REDEMPTION OF PONTIUS PILATE.
She came in and fussed at me a bit over how the story ended for certain characters - then she hugged my neck and said:
"You wrote a GREAT book, Dad!"


That means more to me than all the Five Star Amazon reviews in the world!

I have a friend who met Karl Pilkington on a long train journey. Apparently he is exactly the way he appears to be in the show.

Sssooo...The Dukes Of Hazard has been pulled, but Hogan's Heroes is still in reruns...

All Dukes Of Hazard toys have been pulled, but it's okay for black motorcyclists to wear those non-DOT Approved novelty Nazi Coal Scuttle style helmets...

Aaannnddd... Now that the flag is down, they've decided it's finally time to admit Ol' Roofie was a known junkie, & the bureaucracy that be dropped the ball on blocking his permit....

Growing up a tennis player who admired Martina Navratilova's on-court artistry, it pains me to say this, but I think Serena Williams may now have be called the greatest female tennis player of all time. I was awed today.

I was watching The Shoes of the Fisherman, which I had not seen in a while, and couldn't help but think how quasi-prophetic parts of that film were.

I am starting to feel bad for the 98 version of Godzilla.  I just got back from G-Fest a few hours ago.  People are STILL making new fan art, movies, stories etc just to show  Zilla getting beaten-up, tortured and killed.  I didn't like the movie when it came out either (its still not great) but now I just want to say "Enough already".
