New term for my fellow Dai Kaiju fans to use..."He's as suicidal as a soldier in the JSDF."

What would the world be like if we realigned the world so that everyone worked at something that made them happy and fulfilled?

I think it would be hell on earth. No garbage collection, no waiters, no stores open because no one is fulfilled by being a cashier...

Eh, just a random thought. Like the one I get that tells me to shout, "That's my bacon, dammit!" at random intervals during my Walmart visits.

Sometimes, its not the work, it's the people you have to work with (or work for).

When I was a kid, I thought being a garbage man would be fun, & would pay better than warehouse work, where I pretty much did the same thing.
Unfortunately, earning $5hr when minimum wage was $3.65, I couldn't afford the $850 deposit on a union card.

Ever since then, I've been like, "Bah! Unions; yet another club I'm not good enough to get into."

This morning it started snowing with flakes the size of half-dollars, drifting lazily down, no wind, and each flake was so huge you could look far up into the sky, maybe a hundred feet, and see them coming down. It was one of the most beautiful sights....

Global Warming.... Lookingup

So, somebody predicted that the north pole would be gone by now, & yeah, there's a few computer models that say it's at an all time low... But...

Satellite images show the south pole is bigger than it's ever been before...

There's an "It All Goes Strait To My Hips" joke in there somewhere... Lookingup

Carma is driving into a funeral procession, and you don't know the deceased, just to beat the lights.

Stopping in CVS at lunchtime today to pick up the sheet of Star Wars stickers I owe my four-year-old for putting snow down his dad's coat collar, per my instructions this morning.

Ah, life is good, life is good...

Remember, when building snowmen, always use the Calvin and Hobbs design guide.

I think If I ever ran for president, I'd probably be dumb enough to make homophobic jokes at a rally where I'm supposed to be embracing the support of The Log Cabin Society... TongueOut
