If things take off with the girl I'm taking out on Wednesday, it's going to be really awkward explaining to my parents that I met her while drunk off my ass and that I apparently won her heart by taking her hand in mine and saying, "You're really pretty...and that's not just the alcohol talking, I really mean that"

When my spirits are low, i vacuum in heels..... seriously; it's the small things that keep us happy. Maybe it's just drinking coffee out of your favorite cup or a few dandelions your seven year old daughter picked for you. All the same, it's still the small things that keep you going. When I'm in a relationship (which is rare) I always try to do small things for my boyfriend, such as baking him some cookies or hiding a little note to say "I miss you" over his car visor. I think in times like these, people rely on things like text messages or myspace and forget that the little gestures go so far.

I finally got a hold of the DVD 'Frogs', and the damn thing is broken. So far, out of the 4 discs I have gotten from Blockbuster by Mail, one is broken, and one had issues but was eventually playable. Not a good way to start.

Incredible to think that English was only Nabokov's fourth language.

Saw the greatest written piece of literature on the stall walls in the bathroom today.  I even took a picture of it, in the hopes that it will turn out well enough to post on failblog.

First was something someone wrote that said:
"God love's you"

Yes, apostrophe and all.  There was an arrow pointing to it that lead to another piece of writing that said:

"Nice gramer moron"

After that was another arrow pointing to that, which lead to another piece reading:

"Grammer has two m's, dips**t!"

The coup de grace to the whole thing was the last arrow attached to that, which lead to huge letters:

"GRAMMAR!!!"

I want to post this up there with fail, fail, fail, WIN!

There was this loose thread inside the sleeve of this shirt.  Every time I'd wear it, like today, there was that damned tickling sensation.  I finally decided it was time for drastic action - took it off, turned it inside out, and cut that damned thing off!

Ahhhhh...life just got 1/1,000th of a percent better  TeddyR
