In one of his anthologies Joe Haldeman, famous SF author, suggested cooking bacon in the nude. It taught you to keep the heat down and to make sure it didn't spatter.

a mentor of mine told me about that when i was in my teens, it's sound theory, lol! i don't advice DOING it, but it makes you think about what would happen if you did.

Joe haldeman is best know for writing the forever war, a novel that should be done  as a movie or even a miniseries on SFC.

Here's his exact words.

 In the introduction to a story called Summer’s Lease in a short story collection called Infinite Dreams, Joe Haldeman wrote:
