Sometimes I think there are just two choices: we can mourn the day, or embrace the night.

I wish Internet went down for one month. That amount of chaos will surely be fun!
Maybe we could even see video stores open again, I miss browsing physical movies and chose one by judging its crappy covers.

First I'm gonna have to get an actual DVD player, let me know if you have one for sell.
Otherwise it's back to VHS, f**k yeah.

Ghost Peppers are legit. The local grocery store carries some ghost pepper Colby Jack cheese, and man does it burn.

I've always felt the new year should begin in spring. April 1st, maybe. Think about it, the natural year begins then and it grows and ages through the seasons leading to winter, which is about endings, not beginnings. The natural year is such a metaphor for a lifetime that it seems absurd that we ignore that and fit out beginning into a season of dormancy and death.

It used to start then.

Yes, and summer still begins on May 1st in a lot of places. The calendars are out of joint. I also wish we'd begin seasons with the proper months: March, June, September, December. And murder Daylight Saving Time once and for all. And bring back cheddar O'Grady's chips and Frosted Vanilla Pudding Pies from the '80s.

You know, I'd get a lot done if I were dictator for an hour.

Yeah, I'd happily see daylight savings gone.

This has been bothering me, so I finally looked it up. The developers of this forum software recommend locking threads after 1000 POSTS for performance reasons. This thread is over 1000 PAGES (with 15 posts/page). In other words, I am going to lock this thread, and other long ones. I don't want the forum to crash.

I'll give you some time to say goodbye to this thread. (Of course, you'll ALWAYS be able to read it). In the future, threads will be limited to 65 pages.
