I recall watching a pretty bad Wizard of Oz themed cartoon when I was a kid. Probably Canadian production. I loved THE REAL GHOSTBUSTERS, that cartoon was awesome. The BEETLEJUICE toon was fun too as was the Deanzilla toon.

I believe the Oz toon was Canadian.  I'm not 100% sure, but I recall watching it a few times.

I believe the Oz toon was Canadian.  I'm not 100% sure, but I recall watching it a few times.

They're three sad souls
Oh me, oh my
No brains, no heart
He's much too shy
But never mind, you three
Here's the wizard as you can see
He'll fix that one, two, three
In the funny land called the World of Oz
Oh, the World of Oz is a very funny place
where everyone wears a funny funny face
All the streets are paved with gold
And no one ever gets old
In this funny place lives the Wizard of Oz

I just typed that from memory. Haven't seen the cartoon in at least 25 years. I don't know whether that's impressive or just pathetic.

Ghostbusters was a great spinoff cartoon, in my opinion.

I don't really remember it but I assumed you figured I meant it was bad, so I'm just saying that I just don't remember it and I feel that if a hit movie gets a cartoon, the cartoon is not coming out very well.  Or a video game for that matter.

Most tv spinoffs are bad, but the Ghostbusters cartoon was actually decent.  As opposed to the Ace Ventura and Dumb and Dumber cartoons, which were horrendous.

I remember watching this show too.  There a show like this on Saturday with two brothers and a sister.

Big Bad Beetleborgs

Small | Large

Not a cartoon, but a bad show, for kids.  It came after Power Rangers and sadly didn't have the 'magic' that Rangers had.  Although, I liked it, cause their allies were The Mummy, Franken-Beans (A Frankenstein monster), Flabber (a ghoul), and Wolfenstein.

Never saw that before.  I knew that and Rangers were based off Japanese shows, and I've seen some of the Japanese "Sentai" clips that Rangers are from.  Beetleborgs only lasted about two years then I think they used all the Japanese footage and didn't want to produce more American footage or something like that.
