Obviously the Black Sabbath song Iron Man fit in perfectly with the movie. This morning I was thinking about what classic rock songs would work as themes for other Marvel super-hero movies. Zeppelin's Immigrant song would be great for Thor. But what about the Hulk, Captain America, the Avengers and even Ant-Man?  How about Nick Fury or for that matter any other super-heroes? Do you have any ideas? It's just something I was thinking about during the drive to work.

Here's The immigrant Song:

I think Thunderstruck would be good for almost any superhero, especially Thor, you know THUNDERstruck.

"Whole Lotta Love" would be great for THOR... (unfortunately this clip excises the thunderous musical break, but it's still 2:20 minutes of vintage ZEP):

I can just imagine the brain storm session when writing the lyrics to that one!

"OK, we've got 'Softness in his eyes' but what can we rhyme with that?"
-FIVE HOURS LATER-
"Uh... how  'bout 'Iron in his thighs'?"
"PERFECT! Let's go get a drink."

I think instead of getting a drink they were rolling on the floor laughing then said, "Okay, okay, what else, something with fire in every part, kids wont get it but we will and that's all that matters."

As good as that Spider Man song is, I quite like this version by the Ramones better:
