Does anybody have a favorite munchie for watching bad flicks? For whatever reason I find tortilla chips perfectly complement zombie/gore flicks and something sweet like M&M's or chocolate milk go with slashers.

Sandwiches and movies. On occasion, I like to take a drive into the city, rent about six hours worth of cheesy sci-fi, horror or anime, and stop at the supermarket for food. The best accompaniment I can think of is calabrese, hot genoa, pepperoni and havarti on either rye or a kaiser, with mustard, mayo and a dash of vinegar. Other possibilities are Reubens or possibly my own special pizza subs.

That's usually my treat for weekends when nobody is around, I'm not busy (rarely) and I feel like treating myself. Depending on the company, something a little more elaborate might be in order, or maybe just chips and popcorn. In the summer, it's fun to have some friends over for beer and barbecue, and throw in a cheesy movie if they're in the mood.

Right now, both my girlfriend and I are trying to eat healthy, so the salami and ribs are pretty much out of the question.

Neopolitan Ice cream with milk, in a bowl. or, Hot wings and Killian's red. The former for daylight hours, the latter for night.

I like serving my friends a nice, gooey pizza right before watching something like Re-Animator or Bad Taste. ;)

Also, is it just me, or does the title of this post sound like some Spanish art-house flick?

If it's edible, it's a candidate for movie watching grub. A bag of chips and a greesy hamburger are usually a good bet, and who can say no to a beer, especially if it helps to be drunk while watching the movie!
