I don't know what is going on, but Star Trek folks are dropping left and right. Justman had a big hand in what Star Trek became. One of his habits during the early days of the series was to go in Gene Roddenberry's office and stand on top his desk until Roddenberry finished the next page in the script.
He is also responsible for Patrick Stewart being cast as Jean-Luc Picard. Roddenberry didn't think Stewart was right for the part.
