I did address the problem with the forum.  We had a little bit of down time there while I did troubleshooting.  Everything should be back to normal now.

Right now the site seems to be going slow for me at times.  However, it looks like it might be just my connection here.  If anyone is looking around and the site seems to be slow, please let me know.

Actually, it seems like the forum has been doing better, speed wise, today, even before the downtime; could be my connection too.

It's quite possible what I am seeing is being caused by my service provider here.

I've been making quite a few tweaks to the site's performance lately, all of which were aimed at improving its response speed.

I'm definitely getting a bit of slow-down here. I don't know if it's enough to complain about, but other websites are loading up fine and this one isn't.

Nothing serious, but if you're looking for examples...

It seems to be working fine today.  I wonder if it was a lag between the server and my workstation (and yours, too).  I was seeing some weird responses to traceroutes.
